SELL STOCK

A stock photo is a sort of generic picture. Let's say a company needs a picture of a dog for their new dog website but unfortunately everyone who works there owns cats. All they have to do is go online to a stock photo site, find one they like, and buy it. When that happens, the photographer earns money. Too simple. You should take some time and browse around the stock photo companies listed below. This will give you an idea of what their customers want, what kind of quality you should strive for, and what you are competing against. While you are at it, you should read all of their terms and conditions so that you know what you are getting into. Here are some stock photo companies to investigate... Fotolia - They pay between 30% and 61%. Dreamstime - They pay between 50% and 80%. Shutterstock - In my opinion this is one of the better sites. They pay a flat rate of 25 cents per download. Big Stock Photo - You can make between 50 cents and $60 per download depending on which terms you select. |
