If there was ever a perfect internet product, the ebook is it. Once it is written, you can put your entire enterprise on auto-pilot and (apart from promoting it) never have to worry about it again.

Your ebook can be about anything you want. I've seen ebooks for everything from how to take care of a turtle all the way up to how to become an internet millionaire. Unlike a lot of internet gigs, however, you really need to know what you are talking about because people are paying you good money for your knowledge. If your ebook turns out to be crappy, you'll get hit with tons of refunds and chargebacks and before you know it you'll be out of business.

So how do you create your ebook? Essentially you write it just like you would any other book except that you can do things like embed links and so on to help your readers. Once it is written, most people convert them to .pdf files so they will work on all computers. (There are a lot of ways to create .pdf files, click here and let Google show you the way.) It is beyond the scope of this site to provide exact step-by-step instructions on ebook creation but there is an ebook that can help; it is called How to Write and Publish Your Own eBook in as Little as 7 Days and it looks like a winner.

By the way, it is possible to sell information without having a full-blown ebook. For example, I sell a one page sheet of fat burning foods for $3. Sometimes I sell a lot, sometimes I dont, but overall the orders come in very regularly and I rarely have to lift a finger. I plan to put more effort into promoting it this year to see if I can take it to the next level, we'll see how that goes.

Finally, you need to know about Clickbank. Clickbank is by far the leader in electronic goods and they have an army of affiliates ready to promote your product. They handle all of the billing and they pay on time, every time. Once your ebook is done they'll walk you through the process of selling it through their site and then the rest is up to you.
